Each December we gather to pack 300 Christmas stockings for the women of Angeline House, which helps homeless women in downtown Seattle.
Angeline’s Day Center provides safety and support to women experiencing homelessness. More than 200 women each day access Angeline’s drop-in services, which includes meals, laundry, showers, lockers, and connections to community resources.
This project is partially supported by a grant from the Puyallup Tribe. This year’s event will be Saturday December 22 from 1 to 4pm. SEIU 6 has graciously agreed to allow us to use their conference room in their building located at 3720 Airport Way South, Seattle 98134 (just south of downtown Seattle). Free parking is available in their lot and the building is one story and handicapped accessible.
